On 17 March 2021, the Goverment published an Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy.
Building on the 10 Point Plan (see details: https://lnkd.in/duQWBRC) for a green industrial revolution, the Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy:
✔️ sets out the government’s vision for a prosperous, low carbon UK industrial sector in 2050
✔️ provides industry with the long-term certainty it needs to invest in decarbonisation
The aim of this strategy is to show how the UK can have a thriving industrial sector aligned with the net zero target, without pushing emissions and business abroad, and how government will act to support this.
This strategy is part of a series of publications from government, which combined show how the net zero transition will take place across the whole UK economy.
