REMARS has created this notice which covers how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your data via our website. REMARS is committed to safeguarding your personal information. Whenever you provide such information, we are legally obliged to use your information in line with all applicable laws concerning the protection of personal information, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

The REMARS website contains hyperlinks to websites owned and operated by third parties. These third-party websites have their own privacy policies and we urge you to review them. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy practices of such third-party websites and your use of such websites is at your own risk.

2. Our online services

We log the domain and IP address of all visitors to the REMARS website. This information does not identify individuals, only the computer which is being used. This information is used for statistical purposes only; it is not used to contact you and is not sold to a third party.

We also collect standard internet log information to track the behaviour of visitors to the REMARS website. We do this to receive information on activity such as the number of visitors to our site. This information is collected in a way which does not identify individuals. We make no attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website and we do not associate any data gathered from the site with any personally identifying information from any source.

3. What information will REMARS collect about me?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form or request a callback.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site.
Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

We collect this standard information by using ‘cookies’. A cookie is a small file placed on a user’s computer by a website. 4. What do we use your information for?

In order to request information about REMARS, apply for a job or submit an enquiry, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (name, e-mail address etc). This contact information is used within REMARS only and is never given or sold to a third party. Your information is held in our systems for as long as you continue to use the service you requested and will be removed in the event that it is no longer needed.

5. Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We will keep your information within REMARS except where disclosure is required or permitted by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies).

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

6. How long will REMARS keep my information?

Your information is held in our systems for as long as you continue to use the service you requested and will be removed in the event that it is no longer needed.

8. Web browser cookies

a) What is a cookie?

b) How does REMARS use cookies?
The cookies we use on our site are the Google Analytics cookies _ga, _gid and _gat. These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We use the information to compile reports which help us improve the site.
